It is possible to configure your radio to connect to your network via an available Ethernet connection (RJ-45) or via a Wi-Fi router.

Configuring the radio only to use a wired Ethernet connection

1.From the radio’s Network Configuration menu, select 'Wired / Wireless'. This menu will present you with three options: 'Wireless Only', 'Wired Only' and 'Auto'. Selecting 'Wired Only' will allow cause the radio to restart and then to use only its Ethernet connection to communicate with the network. The radio will also disable its wireless network capabilities. This will require your radio to be physically connected to a wired Ethernet using the RJ-45 socket on the rear panel.
