13.Playing CD-Rs/CD-RWs with MP3, DivX, Nero Digital or WMA Files

To play a CD-R/CD-RW with MP3 , DivX, Nero-Digital or WMA

files with the DVD-Player ...

1Switch on the television to which the DVD Player is con- nected.

2Ensure that the DVD Player has been switched on and is operational.

If the television, DVD player and possibly other connected de- vices (e.g. an audio component) are operational and switched on and the DVD player is properly connected to the television, you can now see the SilverCrest opening logo on the television:

“NoDisc”will appear on the television screen and on the display on the front of the DVD Player if there is no disc in the disc drawer of the DVD Player.

3Open the disc drawer on the front of the DVD Player by pressing the “Open/Close” button once on the front panel of the DVD Player, or on the remote control.“Open” will then appear on the display on the front of the DVD Player and on the television screen.

4Insert a CD-R/CD-RW with MP3-, DivX-, Nero-Digital or WMA files with the marked/labelled side facing up into the disc compartment.

5Press once again the“Open/Close”button on the front of the DVD Player or on the remote control to close the disc drawer. “Close” will then appear on the display on the front of the DVD Player and on the television screen while the disc drawer is closing.

6The contents of the CD-R/CD-RW is then being loaded; this can take several seconds.“Load”will flash on the dis- play on the front of the DVD Player, and“Loading”will be displayed on the television screen.

Please note:

As opposed to audio CDs, the titles on a CD-R/CD- RW with MP3, DivX, Nero-Digital or WMA files can be stored folders, for example to organise titles of vari- ous genres. Depending on this, the following steps

-if necessary - are each described for CD-Rs/CD-RWs with folder structure and for CD-Rs/CD-RWs without folder structure.

7As soon as the contents of the inserted CD-R/CD-RW has been loaded, the CD-R menu is faded in on the television screen. All functions available during playback of the CD- R/CD-RW with MP3, DivX, Nero Digital or WMA files can be controlled by way of the CD-R menu.

When there are no folders: The first title on the CD-R/CD-RW is immediately played.
