Select OFF when there is to be no digital signal output.
The DVD player outputs the raw data of the Dolby Digital sound (default setting).
Select PCM (Pulse Code Modu- lation) when a connection to a digital amplifier/receiver exists. Your DVD player transmits, through the PCM signal, the same audio formats that are rendered on the disc. In addition there will be an audio signal out- put via the left/right connection.
