This feature and the use of a DC Constant Voltage welder provide an added margin of safety when welding must be performed under electrically hazardous conditions such as: • Damp locations • While wearing wet clothing • On metal structures, or, • In cramped positions (sitting, kneeling or lying) if there is a high risk of unavoidable or accidental contact with the workpiece or ground.
