2.3 Special AP

3If the Internet applications do not use standard connections or port numbers, it might be unable to work because the connections of the

applications could probably be blocked by the firewall of BLW-54MF Wireless Router. In this case, you can define these kinds of Internet

applications as Special Applications to make them work properly.

You can define the special applications by your own, but you need detailed information about the applications such as port number, which normally can be available from the application providers. Moreover, you have to check Enable before add or edit an application.

Enabled You can choose to Enabled or Disabled this

function.

Name Enter the name of the application which you want configure. Trigger Protocol Scroll down the list to choose the trigger type: TCP

or UDP type.

Trigger Port Range Enter the starting port number as the starting outbound port for the special application and then enter the finish port number as the ending outbound port.
