3Overview

The VA-2002Multistandard Logo Generator is a unique, high quality multi-standard (PAL and NTSC) color logo inserter for inserting a logo into a composite video and s-Video signal. Using the VA-2002, you can:

￿￿Select a composite video or an s-Video (Y/C) input from the Preferences tab in the VA-2002Remote Control window, as well as from the Main Menu on the VA-2002

￿￿Output simultaneously to both composite video and s-Video1

￿￿Preview a logo at a local composite video and/or s-Video monitor1

￿￿Store up to 9 logos simultaneously in non-volatile memory

In addition, the VA-2002includes:

￿￿A menu-based control system, using a front panel LCD window, with push buttons for navigation and control

￿￿An RS-232 port for logo selection, control and transfer to the VA-2002

Your VA-2002is computer-independent—you only need a computer to create2 logos. You can transfer a logo to the VA-2002remotely via RS-232 or via a floppy disk.

To achieve the best performance:

￿￿Connect only good quality connection cables, thus avoiding interference, deterioration in signal quality due to poor matching, and elevated noise- levels (often associated with low quality cables)

￿￿Avoid interference from neighboring electrical appliances and position your Kramer VA-2002away from moisture, excessive sunlight and dust
