OPERATION

WARNING:

Battery tools are always in operating condition. Therefore, the switch should always be locked when not in use or carrying at your side.

STARTING/STOPPING THE PLANER

See Figure 9.

To start: Push the lock-off button from either side, and then depress the switch trigger.

To stop: Release the switch trigger.

TO INSTALL BATTERY PACK

See Figure 10.

Make sure the lock-off button is in the center position.

Slide the battery pack into the tool.

Make sure the latches on each side of the battery pack snap into place and the battery pack is secured in the tool before beginning operation.

TO REMOVE BATTERY PACK

See Figure 10.

Make sure the lock-off button is in the center position.

Locate the latches on the side of the battery pack and depress to release the battery pack from the tool.

The battery pack will automatically disconnect in the direction to be removed when the buttons are depressed.
