The safe use of this product requires an understanding of the information on the tool and in this operator’s manual as well as a knowledge of the project you are attempting. Before use of this product, familiarize yourself with all operating features and safety rules.

CHIP EXHAUST

The dust bag attaches to the chip exhaust of the planer to keep the work area free of debris. A 1-1/4 in. vacuum hose can also be attached for chip collection.

DEPTH ADJUSTMENT KNOB

The depth adjustment knob selects 0-1/16 in. planing depths, in increments of 1/64 in.

EDGE GUIDE/RABBET GUIDE

The edge guide may be attached for planing edges and making rabbet cuts.

AUTOMATIC REAR STAND

The automatic rear stand allows the planer to sit on a workpiece or table without damaging the workpiece or the blades.

LOCK-OFF BUTTON

The lock-off button locks the switch trigger in the OFF position when the switch is released.

SPIRAL CUT BLADE

The blade is attached to a cylinder-shaped blade holder for spiral cut action that creates a smooth finish.
