4-6. Cleaning Or Replacing Gun Liner

Y Disconnect gun from unit.

Head Tube

Remove nozzle, contact tip, adapter, and wire outlet guide.

3/8 in

Lay gun cable out straight before installing new liner.

Blow out gun casing.

Tools Needed:

3/8 in

Wire Outlet Guide

Remove liner.

To Reassemble Gun:

Insert new liner.

Install and tighten wire outlet guide.

Cut liner off 3/4 in (20 mm) (3/8 in [9.5 mm] for aluminum) from head tube.

Install adapter, contact tip, and nozzle.
