To adjust the feed belt tension:
1.DISCONNECT THE SANDER FROM THE POWER SOURCE!
2.Find the adjustment ports in the safety guard (Figure 38) at the front end of the feed table.
3.Turn both left and right adjustment bolts (Figure 38) clockwise equally to increase tension.

4.When tensioned properly you should not be able to lift the feed belt off of the table sur- face or slide it back and forth.
DO NOT sand boards with the guard removed. Failure to follow this warning could result in serious personal injury.
Feed Belt Tracking

NOTICE
Adjust the feed belt tension before adjusting the feed belt tracking.
To adjust the feed belt tracking:
1.Turn the feed belt ON.
2.If the feed belt is tracking to the right side of the table, turn the right adjustment bolt (Figure 38) clockwise.
3.If the feed belt is tracking to the left side of the table, turn the left adjustment bolt clock- wise.
Note: The edge of the feed belt should just touch the guide wheels as shown in Figure
39.

4.Run the feed belt for 3-5 minutes and recheck the tracking.
5.If the belt is still tracking correctly, replace the safety cover removed in the previous subsection.
