Key Features of the Preferences Screen

Batch Blocking: If enabled, the user may enter a series of job numbers. As each job completes, the next job is automatically started. Use the check boxes to specify the order in which the jobs are processed.

Auto Blocking Mode: In auto-blocking mode, the Clarity will block a lens that has been successfully analyzed without operator intervention. Use the check boxes to select which types of lenses may be auto blocked.

Add Verification: Many labs find it unnecessary to verify the add power once the distance Rx has been verified. Leaving the boxes unchecked will reduce analysis time and improve system throughput.

User Interface: Select either or both of these somewhat advanced features if desired. They are most useful in processing “difficult” lenses in which the Clarity may not be able to find alignment marks or the fitting cross.
