To perform builds of NIC source RPMs, the following RPMs are required on the local Linux system running HP SUM.

gcc-2.96-108.1 or later

kernel-devel

Required to build RPMs from source.

Required for Red Hat Enterprise Server 5.3, 5.4, and 5.5.

Be sure to install the kernel-develin addition to any kernel specific devel package such as kernel-xen-develor kernel-PAE-devel.
