1.Prepare the computer for disassembly.
2.Remove the palmrest cover with touch pad.
3.Remove the keyboard.

NOTE:
5. Support the front bottom corners of the status panel with the thumb and forefinger. Rotate and push the status panel backwards off the chassis as shown below.
