Hi POWER OPERATION

High power (Hi POWER)

The Hi POWER (high power operation) mode automatically controls room temperature, air flow and the operation mode so that the room is quickly cooled in summer and warmed in winter. () see page 16.)

Canceling Hi POWER mode

Press the Hi POWER button once again.

The Hi POWER mark on the remote control turns off.

CAUTION

The Hi POWER mode cannot be activated during DRY operation and when the ON TIMER operation is activated.

Setting the ON Timer

Holding down the ON button changes the time in one hour increments.

CAUTION

When you select timer operation, the remote control automatically transmits the timer signal to the indoor unit at the specified time. Therefore, keep the remote control in a location where it can transmit the signal to the indoor unit properly.

• If you do not press the SET SET button within 30 seconds after setting the time, the setting will be cancelled.

Once you select timer operation mode, the settings are saved in the remote control.

Thereafter, the air conditioner will start operating under the same conditions as if you pressed the ON or OFF button of the remote control.

You cannot set the timer when the clock display is flashing.

Follow the instructions in the section “Setting the clock” on page 6 to set the clock, and then set the timer.
