Cleaning the air ionizer
• Clean the air ionizer when you clean the dust collecting unit. (Clean approximately once every six months.)
Preparation:
1. Turn off the air conditioner using the remote control.
2. Turn off the power supply.

2Remove the dust on the air ionizer.

• Use a toothbrush to rub the ends of the metal pins inside the air ionizer (dark blue) three or four times.

• Do not use cotton swabs or other objects with fluff.

3 Close the vertical air flow louvers.

Cleaning the dust collecting unit

Clean the dust collecting unit when the FILTER indicator (orange) turns on. (This indicator turns on after PAP operation of about 1000 hours.)

Pressing the RESET buttons turns off the FILTER indicator.

Perform cleaning about once every six months.

Even if the FILTER indicator does not turn on, clean the dust collecting unit whenever the unit makes a humming, clicking, or buzzing sound. If the indicator turns on during the night, the air conditioner can still be used until the morning without a problem, but be sure to perform cleaning as soon as possible.

2 Grasp the left and right handles of the air filter and lift up slightly and then pull downward to remove the filter from the filter holder.
