A. INPUT BINDING POSTS - Attach the output of your amplifier here. Ensure that each speaker is connected in the same manner; reversing the polarity could cause

undesired effects. Each speaker can handle a 40 Watt Program or 80 Watt Peak signal.

A.POWER IN - Use only the Fender supplied AC adapter. The AC adapter must be labeled in accordance with your regional line specifications.

BLEVEL - Adjusts the signal level of the RCA or 1/8" inputs.

C. INPUT - The input can either be RCA left and right, or stereo 1/8" connector. This can be connected to the high frequency output of the PDP S50 subwoofer, or the output of your plasma display panel.

D. SLAVE SPEAKER OUTPUT - Your set of PDP-125 speakers includes one powered speaker and one passive speaker. The right channel information is sent to the powered speaker, and the left channel information of your stereo input is sent to the passive (slave) speaker. Use only the supplied passive speaker on this output.

E. POWER LED - The LED glows red in low-power standby mode, and automatically turns green, indicating the amplifier is out of standby mode, when a signal is present at one of the inputs.

*NOTE: The PDP-1 and PDP-125 units are for wall mounting only (see installation instructions). Do not place the PDP-1 and PDP-125 units on the floor.

A.SPEAKER LEVEL INPUT - These "push" type connectors can be connected with regular speaker cable to the speaker level output of your display. The left speaker should be connected to the top input, and the right speaker to the bottom input.

B.SPEAKER HF OUTPUT - These connectors are filtered outputs that can be connected to your PDP-1 speakers. Using this high frequency output ensures a

proper balance between the PDP Sub and the PDP-1 speakers.

C. LINE IN - If you have the

PDP-125 models and do not have, or do not wish to use, an internal Plasma Display amplifier, connect the line level output to this input. The low frequency information will be amplified and sent to the PDP S50 speaker, and the HF information is sent to the 1/8" stereo jack labeled "HF OUTPUT". Use either the RCA inputs or the 1/8" connector, but not both.

D. LINE LEVEL HF OUTPUT - The line level HF output transmits a filtered version of the audio sent from your plasma panel to either of the subwoofer’s line inputs. Using this output, or the speaker level output when using an external amplifier and the PDP-1, helps

ensure that the proper balance is achieved between your PDP Series subwoofer and your PDP speakers.

E. LEVEL - The level knob adjusts the level of low frequency audio sent to the subwoofer speaker. Too high a level can make your mix "boomy" and unpleasant, whereas too low a level will be missing low frequency information. Start with this level knob at Min, and adjust the level of the PDP speakers to the desired loudness. Gradually increase the subwoofer level knob until the sound is balanced to your

taste.

F. IEC LINE CORD CONNECTOR - The power line cord must be connected to a grounded AC receptacle in accordance with the voltage and frequency ratings as listed above the PDP-S50 IEC connector.

G.POWER - The power LED is red in standby mode and green when signal is present on any of the inputs. Low power standby mode is entered automatically when the power switch is on, but no signal is present on the input.

H.POWER SWITCH - Turn the PDP-S50 on or off with this rocker switch.
