Using the grill

o IMPORTANT: When using the grill function, the oven door MUST be kept closed.

oThe enamelled baking tray should be placed on shelf level 1 or 2.

oThe thermostat control knob SHOULD NOT normally be turned above 150°C when using the grill function.

oIf you wish to use a higher temperature when grilling, then you should only use the grill for 15 – 20 minutes. Before reducing the temperature down to 150°C.

o The grill heating element becomes extremely hot during operation, avoid touching it inadvertently when handling the food which you are grilling.

oDo not use aluminium foil to cover the enamelled baking tray or heat items wrapped in aluminium foil under the grill. The high reflectivity of the foil could potentially damage the grill element.

Using the hob top

The following symbols will appear on the control panel, next to each control knob:

Black circle: gas off

Large flame: maximum setting

Small flame: minimum setting

oThe minimum setting is at the end of the clockwise rotation of the control knob.

oAll operation positions must be selected between the maximum and minimum positions.

oNever select a knob position between the maximum and off position.
