Smart Viewer Administration Menu

5.2.4 View Network Status

This is where you may verify the Network Status of your current system.

Information commonly used in all interfaces (Ethernet 0 & PPPoE) is shown in Common Status, others are shown in Network Status by each interface.

Common Status

Displays the status of Gateway, DNS 1, and DNS2.

 

 

LAN Status

Displays the status of IP Address, Netmask, and MAC Address.

 

 

PPPoE Status

Displays the connection status of current PPPoE.

 

 

5.2.5 Network Status Notification

This is a service prepared to notify the IP Address, such as PPPoE or DHCP that is dynamically allocated,

This service will be sent to a designated email address the moment when the IP Address allocation by PPPoE or DHCP is complete.

Each item is the same as the text of “Alarm Notification,” and the user may enter any text that will be added the email. You may enter up to 50 characters per line.

Assuming the sender’s email Address is “inyoung.heo@samsung.com,” and the Password is “1234567,” the “Network Status Notification” should be configured as follows.

5.2.6 DDNS Configuration

This is a function that automatically changes the IP Address to the unique name that Netcam has, and then connect to it.

DDNS server is websamsung.net.

Domain name is w.websamsung.net, where w is the last six digits of MAC Address.
