<Character Set>

Set character set to transmit data from the text input device to the DVR.

<Begin text>

When the begin text is detected, starts the printing.

Only one line is allowed for begin text.

<End text>

When the end text is detected, fi nishes the printing.

Only one line is allowed for end text.

<Skip text>

When the skip text is detected, skips printing. Two or more lines of text can be set.

Enter text string and click <Add>. Then the added text string is added. Select a text string from the list and click <Delete> to delete the selected text.

<Port settings>

In the text settings, click <Port settings>.

JSet up port for the communication with the text input device.

If the settings are not same as those of the text input device, the corresponding text information will not be displayed.

-Baud rate

-Data bit

-Parity

-Stop bit

- Flow control

3.If the setting is completed, click <OK> to fi nish the setting.

4.Click <Save>.

The text input device settings are saved.

Modifying a Registered Preset (Text Input Device)

1.In the Preset setting, select the name of a preset to be modifi ed.

2.Click <Modify>.

3.Modify the preset settings.

4.Click <Save>.

The changed preset settings are saved.

Deleting a Registered Preset (Text Input Device)

1.In the Preset setting, select the name of a preset to be modifi ed.

2.Click <Delete>.

3.Click <OK>.

The selected preset is deleted.
