Tool
Wand
Identifyeach of the attachments shown above.
Remove the upper end of the hose that is attached to the wand holder by grasping the hose collar, twisting and pulling straight out. The attachments can now be added to the hose.
Note: The motor protector may open when using attachments or when cleaning new carpet, due to reduced airflow by the attachments themselves or by new carpet lint filling the dust bin quickly. See the
TROUBLESHOOTING table.
Note: When using attachments make sure the vacuum cleaner is in the upright position and the Carpet] Bare Floor selec- tor is in the BARE FLOOR position.
To achieve maximum reach with the attach- ments, add the crevice tool to the end of the wand by inserting and twisting slightly.
When using attachments, be careful not to overextend the stretch hose
when reaching. Trying to reach beyond the hose stretch
could cause the vacuum cleaner to tip over.
