Entering a Number in a Dialer String:

Enter the complete number you want the dialer to dial.

To enter the characters * or #, you need to use the Special Sequence * 0 before the * or #.

The Special Sequence must come at the start of a number. This means that if * or # occurs in the middle or at the end of a number, you must break the number into segments. See examples below.

*0 n Special Sequence for numbers starting with * or # (n = * or #).

Examples:

Suppose you want to program your dialer to call a server, wait for a computer tone, and then deliver an identifying string. Suppose the server's phone number is 1 888 555-3333, and the ID string is 0123456789. You could program the dialer to do this as follows:
