Turn off fireplace and let cool before cleaning.

You must keep control areas, burners, and circulating air passageways of fireplace clean. Inspect these areas of fireplace before each use. Have fireplace inspected yearly by a qualified service person. Fire- place may need more frequent cleaning due to exces- sive lint from carpeting, bedding material, etc.

ODS/PILOT AND BURNERS

• Use a vacuum cleaner or small, soft bristled brush to clean.

LOGS

If you remove logs for cleaning, refer to Installing Logs, pages 20 and 21, to properly replace logs.

Replace log(s) if broken or chipped (dime-sized or larger).

Turn off fireplace and let cool before servicing. Only a qualified service person should service and repair fireplace.

ODS/PILOT AND BURNERS CAUTION

Never use a wire, needle, or similar object to clean

ODS/pilot. This can damage ODS/pilot unit.
