THE KENSINGTON FRONT INSTALLATION

IMPORTANT: Please use the gloves provided when handling the Kensington Front to avoid fingerprints.

1)Place the Kensington Front up against the unit, but do not secure. Make the following wire connections:

Connect the fan switch wires by taking the black and red wires with the male ends (in the grey harness) and connect them with the wire connectors from the fan speed control.

Connect the ON/OFF switch wires by taking the black and red wires with the female ends and connect them to the ON/OFF switch.

Tuck the wires into the faceplate to keep them away from the insert using the clip provided. Attach the clip to the rear of the faceplate to ensure that the wires do not touch the side of the unit.

The power cord should be run behind the faceplate panel.

2)Mount the Kensington Front onto the firebox by securing in place using 4 screws, 2 per side.

U35-NG1, U35-LP1 specifications

The Regency U35-LP1 and U35-NG1 are cutting-edge gas fireplace inserts designed to elevate both the aesthetic and functional appeal of any home. Both models represent a blend of modern technology and classic design, making them perfect for those who desire warmth without sacrificing style.

One of the main features of the Regency U35 series is its impressive heat output. With the capability of delivering up to 30,000 BTUs, these inserts efficiently heat medium to large spaces, ensuring comfort even in the coldest months. The U35-LP1 operates on propane, while the U35-NG1 utilizes natural gas, providing flexibility in fuel choice based on the homeowner's needs.

Another distinctive characteristic of the U35 fireplace inserts is their large viewing area, featuring a panoramic glass front that maximizes the fire's visibility. This design is not only visually appealing but also adheres to safety standards, as the glass remains cool to the touch, making it suitable for households with children or pets. The flame presentation is further enhanced by the realistic logs and ember bed, creating an inviting ambiance that replicates a traditional wood-burning fire.

Technologically, these fireplaces are equipped with advanced features such as a programmable remote control, enabling users to adjust the flame height and heat output with ease. Additionally, the inserts come with an optional wall switch control, providing further convenience in managing the fire. Energy efficiency is another hallmark of the U35 series, as they meet or exceed the EPA's standards, ensuring minimal emissions and lower energy costs.

Installation is simplified thanks to the flexible venting options available with both models. Homeowners can choose from straight, horizontal, or vertical venting configurations, making it easier to integrate the fireplace into various home layouts. Furthermore, both models come with a limited lifetime warranty, reflecting Regency's commitment to quality and reliability.

In conclusion, the Regency U35-LP1 and U35-NG1 are exceptional gas fireplace inserts that combine aesthetic elegance with functional efficiency. With their impressive heat output, user-friendly controls, and stylish designs, they stand out as exceptional choices for anyone looking to enhance their living space with the warmth and charm of a beautiful fire.
