INSTALLATION

STANDARD FLUSH

DOOR

The standard flush door comes with a black frame. To install the frame, simply hook the top door fl ange onto the top of the unit and swing the door towards the unit, diagram 1.

Use the hook to pull the spring out until you can put the hook into the slot on the bottom door bracket. Repeat for 2nd spring. See diagram 3.

Flush Louvers

1)

Install each top by clipping the louver lip

 

onto the top louver brackets ensuring that

 

each individual louver is centered from side

 

to side.

2)

The bottom louver has a hinge that is at-

 

tached (2 screws per hinge) to the lip on

 

bottom of the unit.

3)

Open the bottom louver. Pull the Burner

 

ON/OFF control box from inside the bottom

 

of the fi replace and position the slots in the

To remove the fl ush door, reverse the above steps.

Optional Flush Trim

bracket over the 2 screws on the left side

of the bottom louver. Push down to lock into

place. Tighten the screws.

Attach the round magnets to the back of the top

Diagram 1 trim piece and to the bottom trim piece, then at- tach trim to the top and bottom of Flush door.

Note: Top and bottom louvers are different.

Be careful that the glass gasket does not roll up; there must be a gap between the gasket and the door lip to ensure that the door sits securely on the unit. Diagram 2.
