Use the Seam Guides

Cornen ng gutcle

The seam guides on the needle plate are engraved to hefp you measure seam

width. The lines are 1/8" apart, with the 5/8" and 7/8" lines marked.

Turn a Square Corner

To turn a square corner 5/8" from the fabric edge:

1.Stop stitching and lower the needle by pressing the Up/Down Needle

Position button when the fabric edge facing you lines up with the cornering guide as shown,

2.Raise the presser foot and turn the fabric to line the edge with the 5/8" seam guide.

3.Lower the presser foot and begin stitching in the new direction.
