!To select a title from the top menu of the disc

On a DVD with multiple titles, you can select a title from the top menu.

1 In the stop mode or during play-		Example
back, press the SHIFT button
and then the TOP MENU/MENU	1	Drama	2	Action
button.	3	SF	4	Comedy

2Press the cursor (, , or ) button to change the setting and press the ENTER button.

"The selected title is played.

"You can also use the direct number buttons for some discs.

!To select a subtitle or audio language from the

disc menu

You can select the desired subtitle/audio language and sound sys- tem (5.1 ch Dolby Digital or DTS sound) on your DVD if it has a disc menu.

You can freeze the image and advance frame by frame.

1Whilst a disc is playing, press

the STILL button. Pause

2Each press of the STILL button advances the frame in the still mode.

3Press the (DVD/CD ) button to return to the normal playback.

Note:

Still picture and frame advance features are disabled on some discs.

!Slow-motion play

You can slow down the playback speed.

1Whilst a disc is playing, press

the STILL button. Pause

2Hold down the or button

for 2 seconds or more. Slow Forward

Slow Backward		/	Slow Forward
3 Press the	(DVD/CD	) button to return to the normal
playback.				SHARP
Note:
