BOUND BUTTONHOLE

A bound buttonhole provides a professional tailored touch to women’s dresses, suits and coats.

116. Bound Buttonhole

Cut a patch of fabric 2.5 cm wide, 1 cm longer

will align with the center line mark of buttonhole.

Lower the buttonhole lever and sew buttonhole.

Machine will sew the buttonhole in the order as

 

 

 

 

 

shown and stop automatically after sewing.

Press the thread cutter button and raise the

 

 

 

 

 

presser foot to remove the fabric.

 

 

 

 

4.

Carefully cut through the center of buttonhole to

 

 

 

 

 

within 3 mm of each end. Cut diagonally to

 

 

 

 

 

each corner as shown.

 

 

 

 

 

Remove the basting.

 

 

 

 

5.

Draw the patch through the opening to the

 

 

 

 

 

underside.

 

 

 

 

6.

Turn the fabric and pull the patch through the

 

 

 

 

 

buttonhole rectangle.

 

 

 

 

 

Press the patch.

Turn the fabric to right side and baste along the
