1. | Cut a patch of fabric 2.5 cm wide, 1 cm longer |

2. | Lower the buttonhole lever and sew buttonhole. |

| Machine will sew the buttonhole in the order as |

| shown and stop automatically after sewing. |

3. | Press the thread cutter button and raise the |
|
|
|
|
| presser foot to remove the fabric. |
|
|
|
|
4. | Carefully cut through the center of buttonhole to |
|
|
|
|
| within 3 mm of each end. Cut diagonally to |
|
|
|
|
| each corner as shown. |
|
|
|
|
| Remove the basting. |
|
|
|
|
5. | Draw the patch through the opening to the |
|
|
|
|
| underside. |
|
|
|
|
6. | Turn the fabric and pull the patch through the |
|
|
|
|
| buttonhole rectangle. |
|
|
|
|
| Press the patch. |
|
|
|
|

7. | Turn the patch and press the side seam |
|
|
|
|
| allowance. |
|
|
|
|
8. | Fold each side of the patch to form pleats that |
|
|
|
|
| meet at the center of the buttonhole and cover |
|
|

| the opening. Press the patch. |
|
|
|
|
9. | Turn the fabric to right side and baste along the |
|
|
|
|
| center of each fold. |
