Connecting the DR LEAF and LAWN VACUUM to your Lawn Tractor
The following procedure includes the steps necessary for connecting the DR LEAF and LAWN VACUUM to your lawn tractor.
1. Position your lawn tractor on level |

ground at a slight angle to the trailer |
|
| |
tongue on the DR LEAF and LAWN |
|
| |
VACUUM (Figure 17) and set the |
|
| |
parking brake. |
|
| |
2. Lift the trailer tongue and rest it on the |
|
| |
Hitch Plate (Figure 17). Align the hole |
|
| |
in the center of the Hitch Plate with |
|
| |
the holes in the tongue and insert the | Clevis Pin | ||
Clevis Pin. This will hold the trailer | |||
|
| ||
stationary. |
|
| |
3. Raise the three Support Legs on the Figure 17 |
|
| |
trailer frame by removing the Safety |
|
| |
Hitch Pins and reposition them into |
|
| |
the lower holes provided in the leg |
|
| |
shafts (Figure 18). |
|
| |
4. Remove the Clevis Pin and lift the |
|
| |
trailer tongue off the Hitch Plate and |
|
| |
reposition the tongue so that the Hitch |
|
| |
Plate is in the opening in the tongue |
|
| |
|
| ||
(Figure 19). |
|
| |
5. Align the hole in the center of the |
|
| |
Hitch Plate with the holes in the |
|
| |
|
| ||
tongue and insert the Clevis Pin and |
|
| |
attach the Hitch Clip (Figure 19). |
