Turn cap (H) upside down to serve as a measuring cup.

2-11

Using cap, measure 2 oz. of applica- ble concentrate formulated for use with the ‘FloorMate’ hard floor cleaner.

For best results, use Machine Formula LYSOL® Floor Cleaning Concentrate when cleaning floor surfaces such as vinyl, ceramic and other tiles, and linoleum.

Use Machine Formula OLD ENG- LISH® Wood Floor Cleaning Concen- trate for wood floors when cleaning laminate wood, polyurethane sealed wood or other wood floors that can normally be cleaned using water.

Check for worn spots or joint separa- tions before using, as these condi- tions could lead to damaged flooring when using water to clean floor.

Both of these detergents have been specifically formulated to resist excessive foaming and other undesir- able effects when used in your ‘Floor- Mate’ cleaner.

DO NOT use detergents that con- tain pine or solvent based ingredi- ents.

Recovery Tank (lower tank)

The recovery tank holds both dry debris and dirty cleaning solution that is picked up from the floor surface.

Automatic Shut-Off (WET mode)

When the recovery tank is full, the automatic shut-off will shut off the cleaner’s suction (suction will be noticeably reduced).

At that time, the cleaner will no longer pick up dry debris or dirty solution and the motor sound will become noticeably higher in pitch.

When this happens, turn the cleaner off and empty the recovery tank

before continuing use.

If using cleaner for wet cleaning, check the solution tank; it may need to be refilled also.
