–Schakel het apparaat in geval van een fout of storing uit; probeer niet het zelf te repareren. Laat het apparaat alleen door een klantenservicecenter repareren dat door de fabrikant hiertoe geautoriseerd is. Worden de boven- staande veiligheidsaanwijzingen niet opgevolgd, kan de veiligheid van het apparaat negatief worden beïnvloed.

–Probeer nooit de stroomkabel van het apparaat zelf te vervangen, omdat hiervoor speciaal gereedschap nodig is. Om de veiligheid van het apparaat te waarborgen mag de kabel, indien nodig, alleen door een klantenservice- center gerepareerd of vervangen worden dat door de fabrikant hiertoe geautoriseerd is.

–Trek de stekker na het gebruik en vóór het reinigen van het apparaat uit het stopcontact. Dompel het nooit onder water: denk er altijd aan dat het een elektrisch apparaat is.

–Reinig het apparaat alleen met een borstel of een vochtig doekje.

–Dompel het snoer en de stekker niet in water of in een andere vloeistof. Dit kan tot brand, elektrische schok en persoonlijk letsel leiden.

–Vermijd het contact met bewegende delen.

–Zet het apparaat op een stabiel, vlak oppervlak dat niet heet is en zich ook niet naast een hittebron bevindt. Het oppervlak moet droog zijn. Houd het apparaat en de stroomkabel buiten het bereik van kinderen.

–Controleer of de op het typeplaatje van het apparaat aangegeven spanning met de lokale stroomspanning overeenstemt. Sluit het apparaat alleen aan op een goed geaard stopcontact met een minimum uitgangsvermogen van 6A. (Gebruik een aardlekschakelaar (FI-schakelaar), een elektromonteur kan u hier adviseren.) Terwijl het apparaat in gebruik, is moet het stopcontact voor nood- gevallen toegankelijk zijn. De fabrikant wijst iedere aansprakelijkheid voor ongevallen die door een foutieve of niet aanwezige aarding van het apparaat zijn ontstaan nadrukkelijk van de hand.

–Als het stopcontact voor de stekker van het apparaat niet geschikt is, moet het door een geautoriseerde elektro- monteur worden vervangen.
