Berry Cherry Smoothie
This kid-friendly smoothie is a vitamin-packed way
to start the day.
Makes about 4 cups
½cups orange juice
½cup plain yogurt
2 ripe bananas, quartered
1cup fresh strawberries, hulled and halved
1cup frozen blueberries
2cups frozen cherries
1 to 2 tablespoons honey (optional)
1.Put ingredients into the blender jar in order listed.
2.Blend on High until smooth, about 1 minute.
3.Serve immediately.

2cups soy, almond or hemp milk (cow’s milk may also be used)
½cup plain or vanilla yogurt
2 tablespoons protein powder
3tablespoons almond butter (any nut butter may be substituted)
2 tablespoons honey
2ripe bananas, quartered
1cup frozen peaches
1cup frozen blueberries
1.Put ingredients into the blender jar in order listed.
2.Blend on High until smooth, about 1 minute.
3.Serve immediately.

Kale Smoothie
Green smoothies are all the rage for good reason – they are packed with nutrients and are a great way to start the day. This is what we like to call the beginner’s smoothie, for the mango and strawberries add just the right amount of sweetness to balance out the kale.
Makes about 2½ cups
1 cup almond milk, or orange juice
4stems locinato kale, trimmed of hard stems and cut into
1medium apple, cored and cut into
½cup frozen mango
½cup frozen strawberries
1.Put all ingredients into blender jar in the order listed.
2.Run on High until completely smooth and bright green, for 1½ minutes.
3.Serve immediately.
