Door Reversal (on some Architect® Series models)

IMPORTANT:

Stainless steel refrigerator doors are not reversible.

If you want to reverse your non-stainless steel doors so they open from the opposite side, follow these steps. If you are not reversing the doors, see “Door and Hinge Replacement.”

You must first remove the handle from panel series refrigerator doors to reverse the door swing.

Door and Hinge Replacement

NOTE: When reversing panel series door, use alternate top hinge shipped with refrigerator.

NOTE: Provide additional support for the refrigerator door while the hinges are being moved. Do not depend on the door gasket magnets to hold the door in place while you are working.

2.Assemble the parts for the top hinge as shown (see Top Hinge Graphic). Do not tighten screws completely.

3.Line up the door so that the bottom of the refrigerator door aligns evenly with the top of the freezer drawer. Tighten all screws.

2.Plug in refrigerator or reconnect power.

3.Reset the controls (see “Using the Controls” section).

4.Return all removable door parts to doors and food to product.
