Elektromagnetische velden (EMV)

Dit Philips-apparaat voldoet aan alle richtlijnen met betrekking tot elektromagnetische velden (EMV). Mits het apparaat op de juiste wijze en volgens de instructies in deze gebruiksaanwijzing wordt gebruikt, is het veilig te gebruiken volgens het nu beschikbare wetenschappelijke bewijs.

Klaarmaken voor gebruik

De koelschijf invriezen

1Zorg ervoor dat de koelschijf schoon en droog is.

2Plaats de koelschijf in de vriezer of in het vriesvak van een koelkast om de koelschijf te koelen tot de vereiste temperatuur van -18°C of kouder.

Het duurt 18 tot 24 uur om de koelschijf goed te laten bevriezen.

Plaats geen andere voorwerpen op of tegen de koelschijf tijdens het invriezen.

3Bewaar de koelschijf met de bodem naar beneden in een goed afgesloten plastic zak in de vriezer om rijpvorming op de koelschijf te voorkomen. Op deze manier is de koelschijf altijd klaar voor gebruik.

4Haal de koelschijf pas uit de vriezer nadat u de ingrediënten voor het ijs hebt bereid.

Opmerking: Zorg ervoor dat de koelschijf goed bevroren is voordat u deze in de ijsmachine plaatst.

Het apparaat gebruiken

Hoe werkt de ijsmachine?

In de ijsmachine zit een bevroren koelschijf. Deze koelt de ingrediënten in korte tijd, terwijl het roerhulpstuk ronddraait. Het mengsel wordt geroerd totdat het ijs is geworden.

Opmerking: De koelschijf is gevuld met een niet-giftige zoutoplossing.

IJs maken

1Bereid het ingrediëntenmengsel voor het ijs in een aparte kom. Gebruik bij voorkeur ingrediënten op koelkasttemperatuur.

Opmerking: In het aparte receptenboekje vindt u heerlijke recepten en veel tips.

Opmerking: Overschrijd de hoeveelheden aangegeven in de recepten niet. Als u dat wel doet, wordt het ijs mogelijk minder compact.

2Haal de koelschijf uit de vriezer en uit de plastic zak.

Zorg ervoor dat uw handen droog zijn wanneer u de bevroren koelschijf hanteert.

3Controleer of de schijf goed bevroren en vrij van rijp is.

-De schijf is goed bevroren wanneer de inhoud overal hard geworden is.

-Als de schijf niet goed bevroren is, hoort u een knarsend geluid wanneer u de bodem van de koelschijf indrukt met uw duimen.

-Als er een dunne rijplaag op de koelschijf is ontstaan, verwijder deze dan met behulp van een houten of kunststof spatel. Gebruik hiervoor geen metalen voorwerpen om beschadiging te voorkomen.

Spoel de bevroren koelschijf niet af, want dit doet direct een dikke ijslaag op de buitenzijde van de schijf ontstaan.

4Plaats de bevroren koelschijf in de kom van de ijsmachine (fig. 2).

5Steek de voorzijde van de motorunit in het deksel. (fig. 3)
