a) Connection to an Open Drain System

Condenser water supply inlet is 1/2" female pipe thread (FPT). A minimum of 3/8" nominal copper water tubing is recommended for the condenser water supply line.

A condenser water supply line shut-off valve and drain valve should be installed.

Condenser drain outlet is 3/8" FPT. A minimum of 3/8" nominal hard pipe is recommended for the condenser drain line.

In some areas, a back flow preventer may be required in the cooling water circuit.

In order to maintain the proper high side pressure, the condenser water supply inlet temperature should not drop below 45°F (7°C) and the condenser drain outlet temperature must be in the 104°F to 115°F (40°C to 46°C) range. Once the icemaker installation

is complete, confirm the condenser drain outlet temperature 5 minutes after a freeze cycle starts. If the condenser drain outlet temperature is not in the proper range, use a flat blade screwdriver to rotate the adjustment screw on the waterregulating valve until the temperature is in the proper range (rotate counterclockwise to raise temperature or clockwise to lower temperature).

KMH-2000SWH/3, KMH-2000SRH/3 specifications

The Hoshizaki KMH-2000SRH/3 and KMH-2000SWH/3 are high-performance commercial ice machines designed to meet the demands of busy kitchens and establishments where a consistent supply of crushed or cubed ice is essential. Known for their superior technology and reliability, these models are ideal for restaurants, bars, and hospitality venues.

One of the main features of the KMH-2000 series is its robust ice production capacity. With the ability to produce up to 2,000 pounds of ice per day, these machines ensure that you will never run out of ice during peak service hours. This high output is coupled with a spacious storage capacity, accommodating a large volume of ice to minimize the need for frequent refills.

The KMH-2000SRH/3 model comes equipped with an advanced refrigeration system that utilizes a durable air-cooled condenser. This technology not only enhances efficiency but also contributes to energy savings, making it an environmentally friendly option. The use of high-grade stainless steel in the construction of both machines ensures durability and resistance to corrosion, which further extends their lifespan in demanding environments.

Another significant characteristic of these ice machines is their ease of operation. The intuitive control panel allows staff to monitor ice production and makes adjustments effortlessly. The Hoshizaki KMH-2000 series also features a self-cleaning cycle, which simplifies maintenance and helps prevent the buildup of bacteria and mold, maintaining the highest standards of hygiene.

The KMH-2000SRH/3 model specifically boasts a sensor that ensures optimal ice levels, automatically halting production when the bin is full. This not only prevents overflow but also conserves energy. The KMH-2000SWH/3, on the other hand, is designed for environments where space is at a premium, maintaining the same production prowess without compromising on performance.

In conclusion, the Hoshizaki KMH-2000SRH/3 and KMH-2000SWH/3 ice machines offer an outstanding combination of production capacity, reliability, and efficiency. With their advanced technological features and user-friendly design, they represent an excellent choice for any establishment requiring a consistent and abundant supply of high-quality ice. Investing in these machines means investing in a dependable solution that will enhance your operational efficiency and customer satisfaction.
