6.The ‘Manual Addressing’ screen will automatically suggest the first avail- able address. The default serial num- ber for a device with an unassigned address is a series of zeros.

If the suggested address is accept- able, click ‘Add Device’ and proceed to Step 8 (Figure 4-11).

If an address different from the one suggested is desired, click on the up/ down arrows next to ‘Device Address’ to specify the new address for the de- vice. Click on the up/down arrows next to ‘Vendor Code’ to select the vendor (AN = Andrew Corporation). Replace the zeros in the serial number field with the serial number of the device (Figure 4-10).

7.Click ‘Add Device’ (Figure 4-11).

8.Click ‘OK’ (Figure 4-12).

3.Type in the serial number for the device. Serial numbers are automatically displayed here when a known device address is selected.
