The anti-tip brackets

The range will not tip during normal use. However, tipping can occur if you apply too much force or weight to the open door without the anti-tip bracket(s) properly secured.

~TO reduce risk of range tipping over, secure range with properly installed anti-tip bracket(s) supplied with range.

lIf range is moved for cleaning or service, check that anti-tip bracket(s) is engaged before using range.

Failure to follow the above precautions could result in personal injury.

To verify the anti-tip

bracket(s) is engaged:

lGrasp rear of range and carefully try to titt fonrvard. If anti-tip bracket(s) is attached to floor with screws and rear leveling leg(s) is positioned under bracket(s), range should not tilt forward.

OR

lRemove the storage drawer. (Sea page 25.)

lMake sure the rear leveling leg(s) is positioned under bracket(s).
