PANORAMA SOUND PLUS

AIWA’s unique PANORAMA SOUND PLUS system uses “Satellite Speakers” driven by a separate stereo amplifier circuit to achieve a wide sound stage and clear stereo imaging at the same time. The PANORAMA SOUND PLUS system also supplies “midnight listening environment” by outputting low

En level volume sound only from the satellite speakers (AMBIENT 1/2 mode).

Press PANORAMA on the unit repeatedly to select one of the following modes.

SATELLIT mode :

Place a pair of the satellite speakers outside the front speakers (see “PREPARATIONS”). The satellite Speakers output the same sound as that from the front speakers with a 9 milli- second delay. You can obtain a clear-cut sound image and listening experience with naturally enhanced spaciousness like concert halls.

REAR SP mode :

Place a pair of the satellite speakers behind the listening area. You can mount them on the wall (see “PREPARATIONS”). This creates a 4-speaker surround environment.

AMBIENT 1 mode :

Front speakers are deactivated so sound is outputted only from the satellite speakers. If a pair of the satellite speakers are placed at the bed sides, you can enjoy midnight listening without the inconvenience of headphones.

AMBIENT 2 mode :

In addition to AMBIENT 1 mode, QSURROUND effect is mixed so you can obtain good stereo imaging even if there is not sufficient distance between the satellite speakers.

(QSURROUND is QSOUND corporation’s property and we are licensed by QSOUND corporation for its use.)
