Only connect a Turntable to the PHONO inputs. In most cases, you should also connect the ground wire to reduce any hum through the speak- ers.

The TGP-5 PHONO input is designed for moving magnet cartridges and high output

moving coil cartridges. DO NOT con- nect CD players or other line-level sources to this input.
