Proper care and cleaning are important so your range will give you efficient and satisfactory service. Follow these directions carefully in caring for it to help assure safe and proper maintenance.

BE SURE ELECTRIC POWER IS OFF BEFORE CLEANING ANY PART OF THE RANGE.

If your range is removed for cleaning, servicing or any reason, A be sure anti-tip device is re-engaged properly when the range is replaced. Failure to take this precaution could result in tipping of the range and cause injury.

Oven Light Replacement (on some models)

CAUTION: Before replacing your oven light bulb, disconnect the electrical power to the range at the main fuse or circuit breaker panel. Be sure to let the light cover and bulb cool completely.

The t~ven light bLllb is covered with a removable glass cover that is held in place with a bail-shaped wire. Remt>ve the oven door, if desired, to reach cover easily.

To replace cover:

1.Place it into groove of the light receptacle. Pull wire forward to the center of the cover until it ~naps into place. When in place. the wire holds the co~er firmly. Be certain the wire is in the depression in the center of the cover.

2.Connect electrical power to the range.

To remove:

1.Hold a hand under the cover so it doesn’t fall when released. With fingers of’ the same hand, firmly push back the wire coJIer holder. Lift off the co~er.

2.Do not touch hot bulb with a wet cloth. Replace bulb with a 40-watt household appliance bulb.
