Safety Precautions
READ ALL OF THE INSTRUCTIONS BEFORE USE:
1.This water filtration system is designed for INDOOR USE ONLY and should not be used outdoors.
2.Use this system only for its intended purpose as described in this use and care guide.
3.Install system on a firm level floor away from radiators..
4.Allow the system to stand in an upright position for at least 30 minutes before turning on the power to allow all cooling refrigerant to settle.
5.Allow at least 1" of space for ventilation around the sides of the unit for air circulation and electrical connections. Do not recess or build into an enclosed cabinet.
6.Close supervision is necessary when system is used by or near children.
7.Do not plug in unit until system is completely assembled and filled with water. Unplug your water cooler before cleaning.
8.Do not run cord under carpeting. Do not cover cord with throw rugs, runners, or the like. Arrange cord away from traffic area where it will not be tripped over.
This product is for use on 120 volts. The cord has a grounded plug. An adapter is available at retail (not included) for connecting three blade
This product draws 450 watts during operation. To prevent overloading a circuit, do not plug the product into a circuit that already has other appliances working.
It is normal for the plug to feel warm to the touch; however, a loose fit between the AC outlet (receptacle) and plug may cause overheating and distortion of the plug. Contact a qualified electrician to replace loose or worn outlet.
To disconnect the product, first turn controls to the OFF position, then grip the plug and pull it from the wall outlet. Never pull by the cord.
9.Do not use with water that is microbiologically unsafe or of unknown quality without adequate disinfection before or after the system. Systems that are certified for cyst reduction may be used on disinfected water that may contain filterable cysts. Individuals requiring water of specific microbiological purity should consult their physician.
