Setting Oven Controls

Setting Cook Time

Use Cook Time to set the amount of time needed for baking. The oven will turn on immediately and stop

automatically after the set cool< time ends.

FOOD POISONING HAZARD. Do not let food sit for more than one hour before or after cooking. Doing so can result in food poisoning or sickness. Foods that can easily spoil such as mill<, eggs, fish, meat or poultry, should be chilled in the refrigerator first. Even when chilled, they should not stand in the oven for more than 1 hour before cooking begins, and should be removed promptly when finished cooking.

Always use pot holders or oven miffs when using the oven. When cooking, the oven interior, oven racks and cooktop will become very hot which can cause burns.

To program the oven to begin baking immediately and to

shut off automatically:

1.Be sure that the clock displays the correct time of day.

2.Arrange oven racks and close oven door.

4.Within 5 seconds, press A or V key pad. The display wiii show the default oven temperature of 350°F

(177°C). By pressing A or V, the temperature may be adjusted in 5°F increments (1°C if the control is set to display Celsius).

. Press Cook Time key pad. :00 wiii appear in display.

6.Press A or V and release when the desired cook time appears in the display.

. The oven will turn ON and begin heating. When the oven temperature reaches the set temperature, the PREHEAT indicator light wiii turn off and the oven control wiii beep 3 times.

To cancel at anytime press sToP.

When the cook tlme runs out:

I:nd will appear in the display. As a reminder, the oven control will beep 3 times and continue every minute after

until stop is pressed.

To change the oven temperature or cook tlme after baking has started:

1. To change press Bake (for oven temperature) or Cook Time key pad.

2.To adjust, press A or V and release when the desired setting appears in the display.

Important notes:

°The maximum Cool< Time or Delay Start setting is 11 hours & 59 minutes.

°Cook Time may be set with Bake or Convection (on some models). Cook Time or Delay Start will not operate with Broil active.

While baking with Cook Time, press the Cook Time key pad to display any cook time remaining.

Dark or dull pans absorb more heat than shiny

bakeware resulting in dark or overbrowning of foods. It may be necessary to reduce the oven temperature or cool< time to prevent overbrowning of some foods. Dark pans are recommended for pies. Shiny pans are recommended for cakes, cookies and muffins.
