3.1Setting up the cleaner

CAUTION!

Never lift the cleaner alone (weight >70 kg). Always ask a second person to help.

1.Before using the cleaner for the first time, check it care- fully to detect any faults or damage.

2.In the event of any damage contact your Gerni dealer im- mediately.

3.Check whether the oil level is between the minimum and maximum marks. If neces- sary, add oil (see chapter 9.4 for type of oil).

1.Fill up detergent tank with prediluted Gerni detergent. Capacity see chapter 9.4 Technical Data.

2.pull detergent filter out of the storage and put it through the opening of the detergent tank filler cap.

3.3Connecting the high pressure hose

3.3.1Machines without high pressure hose reel

1.Put the quick connector of the high pressure hose onto the nipple on the cleaner.

3.3.2Machines with high pressure hose reel

1.Put the quick connector of the high pressure hose (A) onto the nipple on the axle.

2.Put the high pressure hose into the hose guide (B) and fix it with the clip.

3.Release the brake (C) on the hose reel and wind up the high pressure hose.
