Checkfuel lines,tank,cap,andfittingsfrequentlyfor cracksor leaks.Replaceif necessary.

Beforereplacingthe fuelfilter,drainthe fuel tankas perthe instructionsbelow.

Donot drainfuel whenthe engineis hot. Allowthe engine adequatetimeto cool. Drainfuelinto anapprovedcontainer outdoors,awayfromopenflame.

Drainany largevolumeof fuel fromthetankby disconnectingthe fuel linefromthe in-linefuel filternearthe engine.

Removethe fuel linefromthe In-lineside(side towardsthe fuel tank)of the fuelfilter.

Replacementpartsmust bethe sameandinstalledinthe same positionas the originalparts.

Iffuel spills,waituntilit evaporatesbeforestartingengine. Beforereplacingthe fuelfilter,drainthe fuel tank.Otherwise,fuel can leakout andcausea fire or explosion.
