1 Picture Adjust 1 Settings. Refer to figure 86.

3.Press the Downdirectional

Push-but- ton to activate the Picture Contrast Setting; use the Upor Downdirectional Push-but- tons to adjust the

Contrast from a setting of -6 to +6.

4.Press the Rightdirectional Push-button to select the Picture Brightness Setting. Use the Upor Downdirectional Push-buttons to adjust the Brightness from a setting of 0 to +12.

5.Press the Rightdirectional Push-button to select the Picture Sharpness (Mid) which effects the range of medium frequencies in the Video Signal. Use the Upor Downdirectional Push-buttons to adjust the Sharpness from a setting of -6 to +6.

Note: The Sharpness (Mid) is not active for the HDMI Outputs only.

6.Press the Rightdirectional Push-button to select the Picture Sharpness (Hi) which effects the range of high frequencies in the Video Signal. Use the Upor Downdirectional Push-buttons to adjust the Sharp- ness from a setting of -6 to +6.

Note: The Sharpness (Hi) is active for the Component Video Outputs with the Progressive Scan Mode active and HDMI Outputs.

7.Press the Rightdirectional Push-button to select the Picture Hue (Tint) Setting. Use the Upor Downdirectional Push-buttons to adjust the Hue from a set- ting of -6 to +6.

Note: The Hue Setting is not active for the Component Video Output with the Interlaced Mode active.

To exit the Memory 1 Adjust 1 Mode press the SELECT Push-button. To make additional video adjustments, use the Rightdirectional Push-button to select Memory 1 Adjust 2 and press the SELECT Push-button. If no other adjustments are to be made at this time, exit by pressing PIC ADJ Push-button. Refer to figure 87.

8.Press the Downdirectional Push-but- ton to activate the Picture

White Level Set- ting; use the Upor Down

directional Push-buttons to adjust the brightness of White Areas of the image from a setting of -5 to +5.

9.Press the Rightdirectional Push-button to select the Picture Black Level Setting. Use the Upor Downdirectional Push-buttons to adjust the darkness of the colors in the dark areas of the image from a setting of -5 to +5.

Note: The Black Level adjustment is active for the Com- ponent Video Outputs with the Progressive Scan Mode active and HDMI Outputs.

10.Press the Rightdirectional Push-button to select the Chroma Level Setting. Use the Upor Downdirec- tional Push-buttons to adjust the intensity of the Colors in the image from a setting of -6 to +6.

11.Press the Rightdirectional Push-button to select the Enhancer Setting. Use the Upor Downdirectional Push-buttons to adjust contours of the image from a setting of -0 to +11.

Note: The Enhancer adjustment is active for the Com- ponent Video Outputs with the Progressive Scan Mode active and HDMI Outputs.

To exit the Memory 1 Adjust 2 Mode press the SELECT Push-button. To make additional video adjustments, use the Rightdirectional Push-button to select Memory 1 Adjust 3 and press the SELECT Push-button. If no other adjustments are to be made at this time, exit by pressing PIC ADJ Push-button. Refer to figure 88

12.Press the Downdirectional Push-button to activate the Dynamic Noise Reduction (DNR) Setting; use the Upor Downdirectional Push-buttons to adjust the reduction of noise in the image from a setting of 0 to +3.
