1. Permita que el calentador se enfríe du- 4. rante al menos 45 minutos después de usarlo.

2.Guarde el calentador en posición vertical en una área cubierta y lejos de las incle- mencias del tiempo y del polvo.

3.Si así lo desea, cubra el calentador des- pués de que éste se haya enfriado.

Si el calentador no se va a usar por un periodo prolongado de tiempo, desco- necte y retire el cilindro de propano o gas LP y guárdelo conforme a la Norma para almacenamiento y manejo de gas licuado

de petróleo, ANSI/INFPA 58.

Mantenimiento

Para garantizar la seguridad, el funcionamien- to correcto y la durabilidad del calentador, es necesario que tenga mantenimiento con regularidad. La frecuencia del mantenimiento dependerá del uso de la unidad. Revise la siguiente información relacionada con los criterios para un funcionamiento correcto del calentador. Si no aplica el mantenimiento correcto y con regularidad, la garantía que- dará anulada.

Si usa un calentador que ha sido modificado o que no funciona correctamente, pueden producirse condiciones de peligro. Cuando el calentador funciona correctamente:

•La llama se mantiene dentro del calentador.

•La llama es esencialmente azul, tal vez con algo de amarillo en las puntas.

•No hay olores fuertes ni desagradables, ni ardor de ojos ni otras incomodidades físicas.

•No hay humo ni hollín en el interior o exte- rior del calentador.

•El calentador no se apaga de manera inesperada o inexplicable.

La lista de piezas muestra el calentador tal como fue construido. No use un ca- lentador que sea distinto al que aquí se muestra. A este respecto, use únicamente la manguera, regulador y conexión del cilindro (conocido como conexión de rosca invertida) que se incluye con el calentador. IMPORTANTE: no use accesorios alterna- tivos. Para este calentador, el regulador se debe instalar como se muestra en la sección Especificaciones, en la página 2. Si hay incertidumbre respecto a la configuración del regulador, llame a un técnico de servicio capacitado para que lo revise.
