Setting up the recording function using the camera buttons

MENU / OK button

￿MENU button

-When you press the MENU button, a menu related to each camera mode will be displayed on the LCD monitor. Pressing it again will return the LCD to the initial display.

-A menu option can be displayed when the following are selected : MOVIE and STILL IMAGE(AUTO, PROGRAM, MANUAL, DUAL IS, PORTRAIT and SCENE) mode. There is no menu available when the VOICE RECORDING mode is selected.

-When the menu is displayed on the LCD monitor, this button is used for shifting the cursor to the sub menu or for confirming data.

OIS(Optical Image Stabilization)

￿The OIS function reduces blurring caused by camera shake when pressing the shutter button.

￿￿￿Press the OIS() button in the selectable mode.2. The OIS icon will be displayed on the left side.

4. Press the shutter button fully to take a picture.￿OIS function may not work sufficiently in the following cases.-To take pictures of a moving subject-To take pictures with higher digital zoom values-When camera shake is beyond the camera-shake correction range

-The slower the shutter speed, the lower the camera-shake correction performance.
