Full duplex allows the LAN PC Card to send and receive data between the LAN PC Card and the switch connection at the same time.

Changing Configuration

You can change the I/O base address, interrupt request (IRQ), memory range, transceiver type, NDIS driver version, and network optimization using Windows 98, Windows 95, and Windows NT.

You should only change these settings if you have a resource conflict.

1Install the LAN PC Card and connect it to the network (Chapter 1) and install the driver (Chapter 2).

2Double-click the My Computer icon.

3Double-click the Control Panel icon.

4Double-click the System icon in the Control Panel.

5In the System Properties window, click Device Manager.

6Double-clickNetwork Adapters.

7Double-click3Com Megahertz LAN PC Card.

8Select the Resources tab.

9Select Input/Output Range or Interrupt Request.

10Uncheck Automatic Settings.

11Click Change Settings.

12Change the value and click OK.

13Restart the notebook to change the values.
