Port 1 is a downlink. Because downlinks support outgoing ﬂow control only, you can enable or disable outgoing ﬂow control, but you cannot conﬁgure incoming ﬂow control. You might choose to disable outgoing ﬂow control if the port is linking to a device that does not support ﬂow control.

To verify that the UPS unit’s maximum wattage is not exceeded, calculate the total power consumption of all units connected to the Advanced RPS.
