Important Safeguards
The "Warning - Hazardous Voltage" label, shown
in Figure 1-2, is attached to the electrical enclosure
on the lower right side of the machine frame. The
label warns service personnel to unplug the power
supply before attempting any service work on the
case sealer.
Important – In the event the following safety
labels are damaged or destroyed, they must be
replaced to ensure operator safety. A label
kit, part number 78-8113-6778-4 is available as
a stock item or individual labels can be ordered.

The two "Warning – Keep Away From Moving
Belts" labels, shown in Figure 1-3, are located on
each side of the top surface of the machine bed at
the infeed end. These labels warn operators and
service personnel to keep hands away from this
area when the drive belts are running.
Two "Warning Sharp Knife" labels, shown in
Figure 1-1, are attached to both sides of the upper
assembly at the location of the cut-off knife on the
upper taping head. The labels warn operators and
service personnel of the very sharp knife used to cut
the tape at the end of the tape application.

important messages in this manual.
