3.3 LCD Backlight
To replace the backlight:
1.Verify that the power source to the
2.Open the front panel. (See Section 3.1.)
3.Remove the LCD from the steel chassis.
4.Disconnect the cables from the LCD and the LCD inverter.
5.Remove the screw that attaches the LCD backlight to the LCD display. Pull the backlight out horizontally.
6.To insert the backlight and reassemble the unit, just reverse the steps of the above procedure.
Warning: The backlight is fragile. Use caution when handling
or replacing it. It is recommended that the backlight
repair or replacement should be done by qualified service personnel only.
